A clear explanation of what this website collects and why.

When you contact us

We use the name, email address, and message you provide to respond to your inquiry about a product, software project, or collaboration. Please leave passwords, payment details, and other sensitive information out of your message.

How your message is handled

Accepted messages are stored privately in Convex and a notification is queued through Resend to our business inbox. Submission records are accessible to authorized company operators; this website provides no public access to them. Our service providers process this information to operate the form and deliver notifications.

We retain messages while handling your inquiry and any related business correspondence. You can ask us at privacy@edommedia.com to see, correct, or delete the information you sent, or to receive a copy of it (your name, email address, and message) as a file.

Security and spam prevention

When available, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify visitors and rate limits to reduce spam. Turnstile processes browser and device signals for this purpose. We check the verification on the server before accepting a message. Rate limits use a digest of the email address rather than the address itself.

Website operation

Cloudflare hosts this website and may process request information, including IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver and secure it. Fonts and company branding are served by this website. Our service providers (Cloudflare, Convex, Resend, and PostHog) process information in the United States, outside Québec and Canada.

Website analytics and your choices

On our public website, we use PostHog to understand page visits, clicks, scrolling, and page performance. PostHog processes this information in its US Cloud region, outside Québec and Canada. We do not send your contact-form details or message contents to analytics, and we do not use this information for advertising.

Cookieless measurement runs by default. It does not save an analytics identifier in cookies or browser storage. PostHog receives the IP address and browser information needed to calculate an identifier with a daily-changing salt, and strips the IP address before enriching the cookieless events. Events may include the public page address, browser and screen information, click positions, scrolling, and performance measurements. We remove URL query strings and fragments, exclude forms, and omit captured element text and attributes. Cookieless measurement still processes visit information; it is not a claim that no data is collected.

PostHog keeps analytics events for up to 1 year and session replays for up to 30 days.

If you select “Allow cookies,” PostHog may save a first-party identifier in cookies and browser storage to connect visits from the same browser. We also enable session replay, a reconstruction of activity on this website. Inputs are masked, and forms, contact confirmations, verification widgets, and privacy controls are excluded. We disable recording of console logs and request headers and bodies.

“Continue cookieless” keeps measurement running without these tracking cookies or session replay. You can change your choice or withdraw permission for cookies and replay using Privacy settings. Changing from cookies and replay to cookieless measurement removes the analytics identifiers and stops recording future activity. Your choice is remembered in browser storage without a set expiry, until you change it or clear your browser data; this preference is separate from an analytics identifier. Choices apply to this browser and website origin.

Cookieless identifiers change daily, so they do not provide a reliable record of return visits across days. Giving permission for cookies does not allow us to send your name, email, or message contents to PostHog. Changing your analytics choice does not affect the contact form or access to the website.
